Come together. Located in Central Lawrenceville, Lawrence Hall is a food hall bringing together a variety of thoughtfully-selected local restaurateurs centered around our bar, Dear James. We are dedicated to providing delightful experiences and seamless hospitality in a warm, welcoming space.
Blending Past and Present. LH is a 6,000-square-foot repurposed warehouse, originally built in the 1890s that once served as a motion picture theater. Dedicated to honoring the original craftsmanship of the building, the design of the space highlights the immense wooden beam and truss system that supports the 24-foot ceiling.
Dear James,
Inspired by Captain James Lawrence, our neighborhood namesake, the LH bar is our love letter to Lawrenceville. At Dear James, we serve local beers on tap, craft and classic cocktails, wine, and a great selection of N/A options. While our bar menu is available online, the beer selections change frequently, so we encourage you to ask your bartender to help you find your perfect drink of choice.

So, how does it all work?
At Lawrence Hall, there are several ways to order food and drink. Come in, find a seat, and scan the QR code that’s attached to your table. The menus for Cuddy’s, Loaded, La Palapa, Toma and Dear James will all show up through the QR code and you can order as you like.
If you prefer not to order by QR code you can head directly to the kitchen of your choice, and/or the bar and order in person. It’s still fun to talk to real humans!
For takeout orders, please head directly to your kitchen of choice.
Important Notes - Please Read:
This is a BIG ONE. Once you place an order through a QR code, please DO NOT LEAVE that location until your items arrive. Items will be delivered to the table number that matches the QR code and we will have no way of finding you if you move.
We cannot synchronize orders across multiple kitchens, and some items will come out faster than others even at the same kitchen. Your food will arrive in the order in which it was prepared.
Water stations are self-serve, with still or sparkling water options. Share plates, napkins, salt & pepper, other condiments, and take out containers are all located at the water stations.
There are three bussing stations (two upstairs, one downstairs) and if you decide to help us out by dropping off your own used serviceware.
If you have any questions, or need assistance, please ask a server or ask for a manager. We are all here to help you have a phenomenal experience.
